NKYL Spring 2023:
REGISTRATION FOR SPRING 2023 is OPEN!!
COST TO PLAY:
Littles (K-1): $75
Grades 1-2 (Travel): $95
Grades 3-4: $125
Grades 5-6: $195
Grades 7-8: $195
-Discounts for siblings with family max, Financial Aid available, Equipment Assistance limited.
-USA Lacrosse membership is also required to complete registration.
Practices:
-All practices are at the Quonset Park Fields found at 34 Camp Thomas Way.
-Boys and girls in grades 3-8 will start in April. Practice will be from 530-7 pm depending on the coaches’ schedules.
-Boys and girls in grades K-1 will start towards the end of April and end at the beginning of June.
-Practice will be on Saturday depending on the coaches’ schedules.
GAMES:
-Grades 1-8 only
-Games are scheduled for Saturday mornings (although some could be rescheduled for other days and times).
-The season concludes with a jamboree at the beginning of June for 1/2 Travel and 3/4.
-5/6 and 7/8 compete to make playoffs which are towards the middle of June.
-Teams travel and play other towns in the RIYLL community
EQUIPMENT:
-Boys and girls grade 1-8 need full equipment.
-Girls need a mouth guard, eye protection or a girl's lacrosse helmet, and a girl's lacrosse stick. Cleats are suggested.
-Boys need a mouth guard, boys lacrosse helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, athletic cup, and a stick. Cleats are suggested.
**Note: US Lacrosse now requires boys to have shoulder pads that meet new safety standards.

-Littles programs are not required to wear full equipment. Boys and girls minimally need a stick and water bottle. If they would like to wear other gear that is fine.
UNIFORMS:
-This is for grades 1-8 only.
-A link will be provided after player registration to purchase a player uniform. A game jersey and bottoms are required. Please note that player numbers are ultimately assigned by the league. We try to accommodate requests. Player shooting shirt is provided free by the NKYL.
-Littles can order a shooting shirt. No number will be assigned.
